About

Pocket Pixels started as a group chat where three friends kept sending each other download links late at night. At some point we realised we were writing longer messages than most reviews we could find online, so we moved everything to a proper site.,We play everything on our own phones, on our own time. No press packages that shape what we say, no rushing a review out the day a game launches just to be first. If a game needs a week to reveal itself, it gets a week.,Choosing what to cover is simple: we look for games that do something a little different, or that nail the basics so well they're hard to put down. Genre doesn't matter — a clever card game and a chaotic racer can both earn a spot here.,Everything you read is written by a person who finished the levels, hit the walls, and figured out the tricks. That's the whole point.

Mikael Berg — Mikael has been reviewing handheld games since the early Symbian days and still keeps a drawer full of old devices for testing. He plays commuter-style: short sessions, honest patience.
